I think that taking care of children is undervalued. I was a stay at home mother with my 2 daughters, which I don’t regret because I gave my 2 daughters a good foundation , but my ex husband constantly complaint that we had to pay too much taxes. Now, I work as a Nanny and have a hard time to make ends meat! What do our children mean to us? Do we want them to be happy growing up?
I see the problem as a down valued care taker role! In fact, taking care of children is the most important work; how we raise our children that will be our future.
I love expressive children that can grow up in a relaxed environment, with parents that can provide for them in time and money. I believe that stay at home mothers/ fathers should have an “income”!
We need more time and money for our children! Care takers need to be more valued because they can’t live on air, they need a descend salary.
