The new flu that will be inflicting more problems for children means they need a caregiver at home with them. So we need people to be able to stay home with sick leave when they are sick so as not to spread the disease but to also be able to be home with a sick child who are more likely to be severely affected. These flus are known to lead to chronic conditions if not properly treated. And rest and recuperation are forms of treatment.
